Jo tells intuitive healing stories by tuning into a group of ANGELIC BEINGS and ASCENDED MASTERS known as the White Brethren. Included in this group are Jesus, Buddha, Krishna, Archangel Michael, Archangel Raphael and Archangel Gabriel.
Jo usually connects to the White Brethren at the beginning of a story by playing her ocarina which has a haunting, mystical sound. This lulls you into the land of the story and Jo receives an image which she translates into the beginning of a tale. Symbols and metaphors appear and disappear until the story reaches a conclusion which is usually uplifting, inspiring, hopeful and reassuring.
LISTEN TO A STORY HERE!
Here is an audio example of a story from my latest Healing Stories for Children CD.
The stories therefore have a significant healing element and are appropriate and beneficial for children and adults.
The aim is to give messages that are relevant to you in your life. Each person will experience a story in a different way according to whatever is most relevant for you to hear and feel.
Jo tells stories at festivals, events, in a healing room and at children’s parties. She is available for events around the UK.
You may be inspired, find deep healing or simply enjoy the telling of the tale.
Storytelling sometimes takes place in a yurt which creates a homely and magical environment.
Jo’s stories are either made up in advance or created while you are listening. The ending is not known by Jo until the very last words.
Jo runs storytelling workshops for adults, young people and children to help you tell your own stories through simple imaginative exercises, using life experiences and the richness of your imagination.
Everyone has a story to tell and as human beings we often tell stories in our everyday lives! Workshops are an opportunity for you to express yourself, have your own unique voice and experience healing and positive connection with others.
Through using objects, artefacts, percussion instruments, and other tools a storytelling workshop will expand your creativity and enable you to delve inside the treasures of your own imagination.
EXAMPLE OF THE BEGINNING OF A STORY FOR CHILDREN
There once was a tiny fairy called Esmerelda who lived in the centre of a blue petal. She had lost her mother and father a long time ago now and did not know she was a fairy. However, she was about to emerge from her petal and find out what life was all about in the depth of an ancient woodland…
Her sister had flown off with a seed and landed on the rooftop of a nearby town. It was her job to plant many succulent flowers, trees and plants in prestigious places to make all the concrete green and colourful where fairies could do their magick deeds…it was their job to remind humans that nature still existed and must exist.
Sister fairy had once been in a blue petal and remembered the woodland glades well, but her wish was to make the town as much like the woodland as possible. She would cause havoc until her task was done! She would ride across the skies at night carrying huge seeds and planting them where they would grow to great heights…
One day Esmerelda would find her and they would work together, but that would not be for some time yet…
Esmerelda caught a ride on a butterfly and this is where it took her…

HEALING STORYTELLING FOR WOMEN
Jo facilitates healing storytelling workshops for women. These workshops enable women to explore and express different aspects of themselves, emotions and feelings through a particular story which is worked on during the course of a 2-3 hour workshop.
During this time you will have the opportunity to hear a story and to work on exercises individually, with a partner and small groups to investigate and express your responses to the story. You will have the choice of expressing yourself through creative writing, storytelling, drawing, song, sound and other creative means.
There is no expectation for you to perform in front of others or to share material you do not wish to share. This is a completely safe environment in which to take time to reflect on who you are, what your needs are and what the story means to you.
You may laugh, cry, howl, sleep, declare your rights, make a wish, affirm and honour your wishes – this time is yours to be and create and to honour the feminine energies!
If you are interested in these workshops and have a suitable venue and group of women please contact Jo for further details through the contacts page. Thank-you!
Thank you so much for your inspirational workshop yesterday. A beautiful subject and a beautiful group of women to work with. S
I enjoyed working with the other women and yourselves and wondering what was coming up to be experienced.
I liked to hear other people’s views – and that people felt free to express themselves.
The ‘skeleton’ exercises were interesting – and you allowed plenty of time for sharing.
I like put-on-the-spot creativity… to see what emerges without over thinking and analysis.
I would be interested in other workshops, but it would also depend on where I was at in life…
I think you did a great job at presenting your ideas and it was clear that you’d spent a lot of time in preparation and thought about how things would flow. Well done for this. You are also very generous with your time.
Thanks for your time and energy and ideas. Very interesting. And my impression was that you should run more of the workshops. Z
