WRITING MY FUTURE©
By Jo Moon
When the future looks bleak or uncertain write about how you would like it to be!
We are all creating our futures every time we have a thought, wish, desire or emotion.
We can actively create the kind of future we would like for ourselves by doing this simple exercise:
WRITE A JOURNAL OF THE FUTURE!
Imagine you have launched yourself forward by another few weeks, months or years into the future and you are your future self. Now write in the present tense as if today is 30th October 2012 or 2013 or 2020! Choose your date, year, day and your mood too!
WHAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE DOING, BEING, HAVING OR BECOMING ON THIS DATE OR TIME IN YOUR LIFE?
Imagine the bizarre, wonderful, incredible. Imagine your greatest dreams coming true. Imagine every aspect of your life and how you would like it to be.
The spring time is a great season for manifesting new beginnings for ourselves, starting new projects, ideas and goals.
In your journal of the future you don’t have to think too carefully about what you write. You can simply write very quickly, projecting yourself into this period of time and imagining the greatest possible wild dreams that you have for yourself.
IT DOES NOT NEED TO BE COMPLETELY REALISTIC! Don’t start thinking ‘oh, this couldn’t possibly happen to me. But what if….’
I AM NOT SAYING THAT WHAT YOU WRITE WILL BE AN OUTRIGHT PREDICTION OF THE FUTURE! BUT YOU MAY BE SURPRISED ALL THE SAME AT SOME THEMES YOU CAN MANIFEST IN YOUR LIFE.
I encouraged a friend to try this exercise when she was feeling unwell and down. By writing about her life in a positive way in the near future she instantly felt more positive and uplifted and gradually over time her health improved significantly.
Looking over the Journal of the Future I wrote a couple of months ago for April 2012 I see that not everything has happened in exact timing but these events are happening nevertheless, just a bit later! Some themes are happening already.
IF YOU ARE FED UP WITH SOMETHING IN YOUR LIFE NOW AND WISH IT TO CHANGE WRITE ABOUT A DIFFERENT SCENARIO IN THE FUTURE AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS!
OTHER THINGS YOU CAN DO TO CREATE A MORE POSITIVE FUTURE
Say affirmations especially using the magic words ‘I am…’ e.g. ‘I am moving into a happy work environment doing exactly what I love to do.’
I AM is a powerful expression which helps you achieve whatever you affirm for yourself.
‘I AM attracting new friends into my life’
‘I AM becoming healthier and healthier day by day, minute by minute.’
‘I AM happy with my life and everything is working out well.’
‘I AM attracting positivity into my life right now.’
Put positive messages, words, affirmations and pictures around your home.
Put positive messages, words, affirmations and images into your mind!
Create your new life, new wishes by affirming in your mind and imagination what you would like through visualization and meditating upon your desired outcome.
Sometimes we can be blocked by negative conditioning, past events and emotional issues. Ask for healing and receive help in some way to deal with these issues.
If you do not have sufficient resources you can ask God for help, The White Brethren or the Archangels. Sit quietly in a secluded space and ask Archangel Raphael or the White Brethren to give you healing for any issues that are holding you back.
Chanting, praying, meditation and any spiritual practice can help with moving on in life. Especially chant Ganesh chants for moving through obstacles (see video at end of this article) and Lakshmi chants for creating abundance.
Meanwhile have fun and enjoy creating and manifesting what you wish for in life. We are doing it all the time anyway but usually unconsciously and not always in a positive way.
The mind is a powerful tool. Use it wisely!
Always look after yourself well and remember to rest, sleep well, eat healthily and have exercise and regular contact with nature. We are living in a chaotic world and we need to remain centred and balanced in our own individual energies to be in tune with what we need to do in life for the highest good of all.
