The Orchestra of Life©
By Jo Moon
I entered a beautiful cathedral in the heart of England. I had been there a few times but this time felt irritated by a loud cacophony of folk, a huge crowd of people milling about. There seemed to be an array of interesting looking instruments in the foreground, some accompanied by people. There was a harp, trombones and people with violins.
A group of teenage girls were sitting in the pews, excitedly chatting and giggling while a large group of adults sat on raised seats in front of them below the crucifixion of Jesus.
I wanted to sit quietly and pray, find some peace, but it seemed impossible with this rabble of people. I wondered what was happening. A determined looking conductor stood on a platform and tried bringing some order into proceedings. He stared at the harpist who was busily talking to the trombone player.
He waved the group of girls over to the seats where the adults were then handed one of the girls a pamphlet. At this point everyone suddenly clapped.
I felt increasingly on the outside of this event and seriously curious. Other people had gathered in the aisles now and we all waited in anticipation.
Suddenly everyone was in their place. The chatter and rabble of chit chat ceased altogether. The harpist took her seat and trombone player took his. Everyone on the raised seats stood up and then it was as if some miracle happened.
I watched and listened as this group of every day looking people made the most beautiful, incredible sound together. The orchestra played, the men, women and girls sang together in all their different voices, pitches and sounds and I was awe struck.
I sat there for maybe an hour watching this live rehearsed concert. I watched as the conductor waved his arms about in different directions and the people played and sang with their full hearts, voices and instruments. I was mesmorised by the sound.
I thought it incredible how this mixed group of people could come together and produce such an awe inspiring sound. Each person played a crucial part in producing the overall effect.
Everyone contributed in a highly significant way. If only one member of the orchestra or choir were missing then the sound would have been different.
My conclusion is this: we are all born at this point in history for a divine purpose. We have each chosen to be born at this time. Together we have the potential to create miracles on Earth. We also have the potential of creating chaos. This is perhaps where we are now.
If God/The Source was the conductor of everyone’s life and each person listened to Him/Her/It in every moment and acted out of the highest good of all then true miracles could happen on Earth. We would have great potentiality as a human race. We could create a beautiful golden world which served every person and every living being that lived here.
We could design and create amazing temples of light.
We could create an abundance of healthy food and drink for all.
We could produce and create whatever we wished for through our thoughts alone.
We could create amazingly high energies where anything was possible.
Love would exist in many different forms.
No one would go without.
Food and all forms of nourishment would be in plentiful supply for all.
Money would not be in existence and would have no value.
Everyone would be able to do what they loved to do on a daily basis.
Drugs of all sorts would be non existent. Instead nature and higher energies would provide what people needed.
Everyone would be compassionate to a high degree and able to read people’s emotions and thoughts.
Crime and violence would be an unnecessary concept of the past.
Animals and all living beings would be greatly respected and never killed by human hand for any reason.
All living beings would live in harmony together.
People would naturally wish to help and be of service in the world.
Everyone would have a strong connection to the divine.
LOVE WOULD PREVAIL
WHEN LOVE IS AT THE CENTRE EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE!
